Who do I get to run a natural gas line to my fireplace?
I want to convert my wood burning fireplace to one that has gas logs. Who do I get to run the gas line? The gas company? A plumber? A contractor? I have no idea where to start…

Who will be servicing your gas supply? My inlaws have gas logs and the company that provides the gas installed their line, logs, surround and everything. They service the whole system if something goes wrong. Of course, they are tapped into a personal tank, not a public line. You definitely don’t need a plumber though!
