Okay, I mean you have to get them out, then shake them off before getting into the car, and then alot of the time the rain is accompanied by a little wind., so you end up wet anyway. I quess I just don’t see the point. So please tell me if you get wetter with or without the umbrella in the rain.

i want a nice umbrella i guess it doesnt have to be gucci but i want something really pretty that will last long. im trendy and its starting to rain alot so i dont want my dads old black one anymore i want a nice one wtih a design small to medium size. what stores brands and websites to u suggest? if its a website please put links of pretty ones-thanks! o and not tooo expensive but i guess any price will go

well not so much umbrellas but people who carry one. idk why but i was walking to work and this dude had an umbrella (it wasn’t open he just had it in his hand) and there was this sharp metal piece right at the top of the umbrella, and as he walked past i was thinking please don’t stab me.

when it rains and there is wind, the umbrella does not cover you at all. Hats don’t cover sunlight if the sun is not directly above you. So i see people with hats and a strong sun light shining on their faces, their hats don’t even serve the purpose.

just wondering would the metal in an umbrella conduct electricity so why arent they mad out of rubber since electricity wont effect it

I live in South Florida and this issue has been bugging me since I moved here about eight years ago. It makes no sense to me that umbrellas are prohibited at Marlins games but allowed at other stadiums. I know for a fact that both New York teams (Mets, Yanks) allow them. The only reason I ever get as to why they’re prohibited at the Marlins stadium is because they can be used as weapons. Well there are a bunch of other things that can be used as weapons. I can throw my shoe, use my cigarette lighter, throw my beer, use a pen or pencil to stab someone, etc. I wouldn’t do any of those things, I’m just trying to make a point. Everyone knows that it can rain at any given moment in Florida. I hate getting wet from rain and not being allowed to bring an umbrella is one reason why I rarely go to Marlins games. I’m sure the umbrella ban is one reason why they have the worst attendance every year. I wouldn’t have a problem if this was a league-wide rule, but as I said, other teams allow it.

So does anyone have an explanation for this besides the weapon thing?
