and the apartments i live in have gas stoves, and the pilot on mine keeps going off which leads to natural gas being released, i usually catch it quick and air out my house, but im worried if it’ll have an effect on me or the baby, the baby especially help?
I’m looking to buy a house and my woman is all gas stoves are way better because you can control the heat better and the utility bill is less, and I’m all like whoa technology has come a long way baby!!
I,have bought Emeril’s cookware,about a year ago. I,have gas stoves,which I love. But how do you get rid of the built up grease on the bottom of the pan’s. With out useing a scouring pad. I,have the non-stick cooking line,and not the stainless steel,ones thank-you,for your reply.
Baring extreme circumstances, are fires on stovetops mostly just from gas stoves, and oil splattering into the flame? How does an oil fire start (the one you always hear you shouldn’t pour water on)?
I live in an apt and have a gas oven that produces no smoke. As soon as I turn it on within 5 min it sets off the smoke detector. I would like to use it, but I’m scared of gas stoves. I use the range top. I have had my uncle and landlord look at it. Should I call the gas company to look at it? Also I am worried about carbon monoxide while cooking. I live in a small apt.

So I have an electric stove (which I hate) and I am learning how to use it. I am use to gas stoves. So I have the options LO,1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & HI. Where would you say the medium heat is on this retarded stove?

It’s just I’ve always had a electric stove so you put it in the oven part close to the top but I know it’s different with gas stoves so is it underneath or ????
So I have one of those old gas stoves with the top that lifts up, and there’s the two pilot lights that always stay lit and the flat surface where all kinds of food and crap collects that falls through the burners. What kind of cleaning solution should I use around the flames here? What should I do to avoid getting burned? Or should I blow out the pilot lights to clean and then re-light them? Do I need to shut off the gas?
I used my gas stoves oven, And after i was done it would not turn off i had to turn off the main gas line for it to turn off. I thought the knob was stripped, so i used pliers turn it , But i got the same results. Also why doesn’t the pilot turn off if the gas is off.
