Help I have broken part of my 1967 omc intermediate housing
Does anyone know how to repair a broken intermediate housing without having to buy another one?

If it is aluminum how can I weld it at home without any fancey spool-guns I have arc mig and a tourch??

You can’t weld it it so old that the aluminum is not good for welding> web search OMC parts>If the exhaust is the issue you can plug it. And run the exhaust threw the transom > Bit noise but works>
Yes it is Alum. Yoget this welded, in most cases. There are used parts dplaces that might have a 40 year old drive laying around and there isn’t much demand, so they might give you a fair price. Also check at local marinas and dealers, they also have stuff laying around. Good Luck!!!!
