]]> My son is 3.5 months old and rarely burps anymore. This is an issue because he seems to spit-up when he does decide to burp, and often times before he burps. The doctor suspects he has reflux and started him on liquid Zantac when he was around 4-5 weeks old. That really isn’t helping. We used Dr. Brown’s and Platex Advanced bottles and he doesn’t seem to get gas like he did in his newborn days.

Sometimes we will rub (in a circular motion) and pat his back for five to ten minutes with and STILL no burp. The other issue is he becomes hysterical when we remove the bottle from his mouth to burp him. He starts screaming to the top of his lungs, kicking and locking his legs up so we can’t sit him down. He’ll also jerk his body around making it extremely difficult to hold him. He is very strong and, yes, at 3.5 months he is throwing a tantrum. I have tried inserting his pacificer (which he rarely sucks) to keep him calm while I’m trying to burp him but he just spits it out.

Any suggestions?

]]> I recently found this wood burning stove at a yard sale. It is pretty rusty and I wanted to see a picture of it when it was new so I can restore it. It has this amazing molded picture on the sides of a man and woman dancing in the mountain woods. You can even see their cabin in the background. Has anyone seen a stove like this? It has an information plate rivited on the back that says the company is Dee Dai Co. LTD out of Taiwan. But their website doesn’t have any way to search through their old stuff. Any advice?
