can you help me turn my shed into a living space?
I am looking for a little space to myself. I am starting school this spring and need more space. The only place i can think of that doesn’t get much traffic is our shed. It is not very big (8ft wide x12 ft long) but i feel it is enough to give me a little>much needed< privacy. I want a comfortable space to study and be able to organize my work. I also want a space, when i need to turn my head off, i can relax. description… back wall is brick (i would like to lighten it) cement floor,2 windows (one on the left side wall and one on the right side) you can see the rafters in the ceiling and walls. I thought about hanging fabric up to cover wall and ceiling but I’m scared it will catch fire. There is one electric outlet. (If anyone knows of a way to hide electric cords or know of any lighting without wiring.) There is also a shelf built all the way down the left wall. I will greatly appreciate any ideas. Thank you in advance, M

Well as for the walls, you can get maybe some nice pictures,
like maybe some waterfalls, pictures of friends, you could also get a corkboard and stick up notices, or like bills and things. For the windows you could get some like dark light fabric, to kind of make a nie shadowy light, perfect for relaxing. Maybe go to ikea and get a nice rug, they sell cheap rugs there, also you could maybe get like an arm chair, or a sofa, get a throw blanket + some nice pillows.
Put in a desk, a computer, a bright lamp, and you should be done
Also maybe for the celing, you could get some nice fabric and kind of like drape it on the ceiling.

It all depends on your budget, you could put up some plasterboard, get a carpet square for the floor, moisture could be an issue here, lighter colours. Thought with the wiring could mean only one or two extension cords with multiboxes, I could go on, but I fear I have blown your bank account already…..
