I have electric heat and it kills me in the winter.We have a fireplace and I’m thinking of getting a pellet insert to help with the heat..Does anyone know if that is as good as putting in a pellet stove? I’m in upstate NY and it gets cold.

what of the two is cheaper to burn,and is burning corn a problem

I am looking into putting a pellet stove in my finished basement. I would like pros and cons on them. Would you recommend coal or wood instead and why. I have had coal and wood stoves in the past.

I want to know the details about Sweden, Finland and Norway of the weather,the customs and so on.

I have cleaned all the areas I am supposed to..including the venting to outside.. why is the air not as hot as it should be?
Last winter it was really nice and hot (1st year). we have a short venting system, it basically goes up a foot or so from the back, and then straight outside.

Thinking of getting one, anybody have any recommendations?
